that was really great.  really agree on how important it is to find fags and dykes and queers so we can help each other and make things better.

thanks for writing this <3

(also, the wiki-style format fits SO well here! and i really love the images you chose and the little song recommendation widget)

I really like both the structure and the aesthetic of this and also it's really good!

this was absolutely incredible, as another trans asian (though not transfemme) i would love to talk to you more about this (i also submitted a decker project!!) i think following the tradition of memoir and mixing in radical (and necessary) social critique in with personal experience of gender and informing how that shapes your experience of gender

and things like "being a boy publicly, but being a girl online" really rang true for me, because i'm seen as a woman (?) ("but wrong") irl but am an agender man online where it feels True.

if you're interested in talking more about being trans and asian, pls hmu @ swanchime on discord if you have it!!

Well done. The nonlinear navigation structure is a visceral way of representing how all these issues and thoughts are inter-related and knotted together.

Have you considered also submitting this piece to Dec(k)-Month?

ahh thank you! i love the workflow of Decker, it encourages a great interplay between visuals and text snippets that's easier to write in than typical essays

I'm really glad to see this. It perfectly encapsulates what it's like being trans in 2024

So much of this resonated with me, and I think you did a really good job portraying... yeah, everything.

This one is just super solemn and real and that level of poignancy is something that makes you a really good writer :3

(On a personal note, I don't think we need to censor the slurs we reclaim)

this means the world, thank you- and fair point on the reclaiming! (i think i was pre-emptively blunting something that should confront the reader so i may patch that)
